Annual Nanny Voucher — Hourly Babysitting Service

Annual Voucher Price: 200€ + VAT

The Annual Nanny Voucher is a service we offer to parents of young children who occasionally need a carer for a few hours at a time.

This payment, valid for 12 months, entitles you to request a nanny on an ad-hoc basis for up to 3 consecutive days. For longer periods — such as school holidays — a different arrangement would be required, and you would need to establish a formal employment relationship with the carer.

This price does NOT include the cost of the nanny herself — each booking must be paid directly to the nanny upon completion of her work, based on the following rates (within Madrid city):

Hourly rate: €12
If the session ends after midnight, an additional €15 will be charged to cover the nanny’s transport home by taxi
For bookings exceeding 6 hours per day, a reduced hourly rate may be considered
If the address is outside Madrid city (Transport Zone A), please contact us and we will assess your case.

What Do We Mean by a Nanny?

A nanny provides an ad-hoc, hourly service without any ongoing commitment, and the arrangement does not require a formal employment contract.

A nanny’s duties are limited solely to the care and supervision of children — they do not carry out household tasks such as cleaning or ironing.

1 nanny per maximum 3 children: Each nanny is responsible for up to 3 children at a time. Their responsibilities include playing with them, accompanying them to after-school activities, helping with homework, tidying the children’s bedroom, organising their clothes and toys, preparing bottles, simple children’s meals, and so on.

House & Kids guarantees the following:

We select candidates with the strongest profile, the best references, and proven experience in childcare.
The nanny will be available on the date and at the time you require.
We cannot guarantee that the same person will always be available, though we will always take your preferences into account — as we are subject to each candidate’s availability.
Before each booking, you will receive a profile card for the person who will be caring for your children, including all personal details, identification, verified employment references — which you may also check independently if you wish.

How to Request a Nanny

Booking requests: Monday to Friday, in writing by email: info@houseandkids.es or by telephone on 91 579 8713 with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Special public holidays: On 24th and 25th December, 31st December, and 1st and 6th January, the hourly rate will be increased by 50%.
