From your initial enquiry to your perfect match — a clear, step-by-step process.
At House & Kids we have refined our placement process over many years working with families in Madrid. We take care of everything so that you can focus on what matters most.
Step 1 — Initial Consultation
We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your family’s specific needs: the type of role required (live-in, live-out, part-time, full-time), the duties involved, the working hours, and any particular preferences or requirements you may have.
Step 2 — Candidate Search and Pre-selection
Using our extensive database and active candidate network, we identify candidates who match your requirements. Each candidate undergoes thorough vetting: identity verification, criminal records check (certificado de antecedentes penales), Social Security number confirmation, and verification of employment references from previous families.
Step 3 — Candidate Presentation
We present you with a shortlist of the most suitable candidates, including their full profile, experience and references. You choose which candidates you wish to interview in person.
Step 4 — Interviews and Trial Period
We support you throughout the interview stage and advise you on what to look for and how to structure the trial period. This initial period is essential for confirming that the candidate is the right fit for your family.
Step 5 — Contract, Registration and Ongoing Support
Once you have selected your candidate, we handle the employment paperwork: contract preparation, Social Security registration and payroll set-up. Our HR Administration Department remains available throughout the employment relationship for any queries or additional formalities.
Replacement Guarantee
If, for any reason during the guarantee period, the selected candidate does not work out, we carry out a replacement at no extra charge. We are committed to finding you the right match.
