Professional Competencies
Competencies acquired during the course: Training and accreditation for carrying out work in the domestic environment.
Professional scope: Covers both self-employed and employed roles in the private sector. Participants will be qualified to carry out cleaning and preparation of private residences.
Productive sectors: The course is situated within the domestic service sector, covering the following activities: home cleaning and maintenance, laundry, ironing, basic hand-sewing of garments and household linen, bed-making, and basic food shopping and preparation.
Course Structure
This Housekeeper Training Course comprises 3 teaching modules and one practical module, delivered by distance learning or e-learning over an intensive 2-month period.
The modules and teaching units are as follows:

If you already have professional experience, you may sit the validation exam in person or online. We will guide you through this process.
Once you have passed the exam, you will receive your diploma and accreditation certificate within 15 days — a valuable addition to your CV when applying for positions.
Certification and diploma fee
The course itself is free of charge; participants are only required to pay 75€ for the Certificate and Diploma of Achievement.
All participants who pass the exam — taken through the e-learning platform — will receive the EDAE own-title diploma for the Housekeeper Training Course, issued within the framework of non-formal professional development.
Enrolment instructions
- Complete the application form and submit the required documentation: CV, copy of DNI, passport or residence permit (include any letters of recommendation if available), and proof of payment of 75€.
- Bank transfer. Reference: EDAE-HOUSEKEEPERS and your full name.
- Once you have completed the course(s) within two months, you may apply for the issuance of your accreditation and/or diplomas.
