Their responsibilities include:
- Keeping the home clean and tidy
- Laundry: washing and ironing
- Cooking
- Dropping off and collecting children from nursery or school
- Preparing their meals and feeding them where necessary
- Taking them out for walks
- Supervising playtime
- Bathing the children
- Caring for them when they are unwell
- Accompanying them to the paediatrician
- Looking after them until the parents arrive home
