Our candidate sourcing system comprises multiple processes and security filters, managed by our team of professionals specialising in human resources, business administration and psychology.
We are an authorised placement agency registered with the Community of Madrid, No. 9900000591, listed in the National Employment System (SEPE).
Our candidate requirements:
- Valid DNI, NIE and work permit.
- Verified employment references covering a minimum of 4 YEARS working as domestic staff with Spanish families.
- Our reference checks are rigorous — we ask 5 trap questions to detect any dishonesty or misrepresentation.
Our evaluation process consists of the following steps:
- Personal interview to assess the candidate’s profile.
- Security check: rigorous verification of references — we contact all previous employers directly.
- Skills assessment via a knowledge questionnaire covering cleaning, ironing, laundry care, appliance operation, household organisation, table service and Spanish cooking, among other areas.
- Suitability for childcare or care of dependent adults. House & Kids assesses whether the candidate is SUITABLE for each specific role.
Prior to interviews, clients receive a personal profile for each candidate in PDF format, which includes:
- Full personal details
- Verified references, with the telephone numbers of previous employers available should you wish to contact them directly
- Copies of all identity documents: ID card, driving licence, work permit and any qualifications
- A photograph of the candidate
We comply fully with data protection legislation and hold written consent from all candidates to share their personal information and photograph with prospective employers.
We advise on market salary rates, subject to the current minimum wage, reviewing the appropriate salary for each candidate based on their competencies and experience.
We prepare and send official documentation for the employment of staff, and our Labour Advisory Department is available to handle the following procedures on your behalf:
- Social Security registrations, de-registrations and data changes
- Monthly payroll processing
- Calculation and preparation of final settlement documents
- Sick leave notifications to INSS
